
DAVID BRUCE HAMPEL, 34, died Friday, July 8, 1994, at his home in Ogden of cardiac arrest resulting from complications of diabetes.
He was born July 31, 1959 in Ogden a son of Bruce F. and Lucille Bush Hampel. He graduated from Ogden High School and Weber State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Dave has been employed at Smith and Edwards. He was an Eagle Scot and a member of the Farr West 5th LDS Ward where he served as financial clerk.
Surviving are his parents of Ogden; two sisters and one brother, Marilyn and Mark Lindsey of Orem; Phyllis and Steve Fleming of North Las Vegas, Nevada; Gary and Kendra Hampel of North Ogden; and three nieces and two nephews who loved him.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Bishop Blaine Jensen of the Farr West 5th Ward officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch. Dave will be missed by his family and friends.
