Beverly K. Hansen

Beverly K. Hansen 1930 ~ 2008 NORTH OGDEN Beverly Kearl Hansen, 77, wife, mother, educator and friend to all passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008. She was born to George and Violet Kearl March 4, 1930, in Smithfield, UT, the 12th of 14 children. She married Eugene D. Hansen on November 25, 1953. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Beverly graduated from the USU in 1952. She taught English for 36 years in several school districts including Davis County, Glendale, CA, and Sacramento, CA. Her final 25 years of teaching were spent at Ogden High School. Beverly is survived by her husband of 54 years, her daughter Marcea Owen, three grandchildren, Trey Owen, Kate Owen and Taylor Owen, one brother, Jim Kearl and two sisters, Laura Kearl Monson and Donna Kearl Bergener. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 3, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Ben Lomond 12th Ward Chapel, 650 E. 3610 N., North Ogden, Utah.
