I wish more would join the message forum. After 20 years I am sure there is plenty to say. I was looking on the Top 100 songs of 1988 and didn't see Levert's Casanova, maybe it was 1987. I just remember a guy in a red truck that use to blast it in the parking lot, who was he?

I will say that after 20 years my memory is not the greatest.

I have to totally agree with Ms. Olga...the memory fails nowadays! The reunion is going to be a blast....catching up on old times...our spouses/better halfs are going to wonder what the hell they got theirselves into! LOL....Teresa

Well, all I remember from back in the days is getting into trouble from partyin too much! What the hell was wrong with us? I can't for the life of me figure out how many parents "overlooked" the aftermath of the daytime parties.
Man, I wonder how many issue with drug and alcohol people had in their 20's. (Of course I would wonder this since I specialize in substance abuse counseling) LOL

Hi everyone. I agree with the comments. Parties...I dont know how we got away with half of the stuff we did. Lots of prayers must have been going up for all of us.
Olga, I dont know what song your talking about, it must be the memory failure going on. But any time i hear a Prince song.... 1999....or see Purple Rain, i think of you.ha

Olga, I don't remember who the guy was in the red truck, but I remember Che's Vbug all over the place. Loved that paint job. Tammy, remember how your brother and all the guys used to play football on 15th street by my house back in '83 . . . those were fun times. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Anyone know what ever happened to Lisa McAfee and/or Chris Flynn??? Amber, all I can tell you is the late 20's and early 30's for me was a "purple haze"... Ha Ha Ha :-)

Alright Olga, some of my favorites are with you in
Mrs. Householders class. You kept getting detention because you were always laughing (mostly because she was always drunk and smelled). She would stand directly in front of you and tell you to stop laughing at her and you would laugh HARDER. That was great!

There was Jennifer Colbert in Ms. Roberts class. She was blamed for someone else talking in class(the nerve of the person who let her take the fall), and was sent to the office. On her way out, classic Jennifer, slammed her door shut. Ms. Roberts quickly ran to the door, opened it back up and yelled, "Don't slam my door."
Of course Jennifer ran back down the hall, called her a bitch and slammed the door shut AGAIN. olga

There was the car Nancy Crites bought from "Brother" Carpenter. The passenger seat was broken and would not secure in place. Every time Nancy hit the brakes in a panic, she would throw you into the dashboard. When should took off quickly, you would slam into the back seat. If you had been drinking, it wasn't the car to ride in (if I could of only figured that one out then). How is that for ya, Olga?

Geez, I don't have a lot of exciting memories, it appears that I had boring high school years. I didn't do a lot of partying. I had a few drinks at prom(I think) and didn't start drinking until I was at OU. I do remember all the fights after they closed down Classen High School.

Laura, I do remember Nancy's car, that was funny.

Tammy, at the reunion I will ask them to play some Prince, so you can think of me some more. I still love that man, even though I am taller than him.

Those were the days, I wish MTV was like it was back then.

okay, those memories are hilarious. I cant beat yours Laura, but, our junior year Phil Holbrook had a party on a game and test day. Remember: For any of you who wore uniforms, the rule was dont get caught drinking or at a party in uniform. (So shed the uniform, go drink, get in the car and put it back on, go to class drunk or buzzin' in uniform but keep your head down and spray lots of perfume, fail your test or convince someone to let your drunk butt cheat, wait for the bell to ring and start all over.) Anyway, Leslie Osmond, when Mrs. Laubach left the room that day, she was just drunk enough that she opened up a gift of brownies on Laubach's desk and ate one, wondered around the room like she owned it, (I just knew we were gonna get caught) and got back to her seat before she noticed....crazy.girl.

i of course believe i made a bad grade but i wont forget the party!
