Frenid, my childhood friend with the unusual name (a combination of her parents' names, Fred & Enid), and the creativity and imagination to always keep her life interesting. Frenid put that great brainpower of hers to good use, attending college and then medical school, and eventually becoming a psychiatrist. She practiced in southern CA for years, then returned to OKC to be near her family, at which time she went to work for the VA Hospital. At one point in her career, she developed a specialized software program to be used in psychiatric care and traveled to Hong Kong seeking financing. Her life was always an adventure! As an adult, Frenid legally changed her name to "Jean Golday." She died on 6-29-94.
I have wondered over the years what happened to Frenid. She was such an intelligent, gifted young woman in high school. Thanks for clearing up the mystery. What a tragedy; her life ended much too soon.
