Thanks Jan for your hard work. The website is great! Can we get the 10yr reunion pics off of here...(laugh) I am looking forward to seeing everyone especially those I have to get out the yearbook to remember their names. I hope others are having the same problems. Can we just get past the "uh, what is your name again?"

Hi Everyone! Thanks for the nice words about the website. It's a work in progress but I too think it's coming along nicely. We had our second reunion committee meeting April 3rd at Panera Bread. In attendance were Randy Buettner, Andy Summers, Debbie Tatum-Stout, Dana Montgomery-Holliday, Belinda Covey-Scott, Steve Culbertson and me. Billy Day, who was not with us due to a long commuting problem was with us in spirit and we thank him for all the hard work he does locating classmates. (Billy, if you're reading this, we wish you were here!!) We had a great time getting caught up and then got right to the business of deciding about the reunion. There were a lot of nice ideas thrown on the table and we have decided to continue our tradition of a two day event. Something casual on Friday evening, a possible tour of the high school and maybe the new John Glenn Elementary, for those of us who went there, on Saturday morning. A family event on Saturday afternoon and then the big dinner/dance thing on Saturday night. If you have other great ideas please post them here so that we can throw those into the mix when we meet again on May 6th. If your interested in helping in any way please let us know so we can inform you about meetings.

Hi Jan,

I was just home visiting my parents in Yukon when they told me about the website. It's great. It's so fun going through our classmates profiles and "catching up". I am going to try hard to make the 26th event. Thanks again for the great job creating this website!

A standing ovation to poster of that peanut little league baseball photo. Upon viewing I immediately tasted the red dirt of Okie field mixed and washed down with a "suicide." Surely that must be what stunted my growth.

I recognize on the: top row Andy M., David A., Ronnie S., (and is that Bill A.?); middle row Steve C., Gary (Regan) R., Chris Swank (who, BTW, is still racing motorcycles, now with his sons, in California); and on the bottom row Scott Kiker. The others, dang it, I should know. The real test is to see if Andy, David and Steve know them all...

Thanks for all the hard work everyone is doing to help locating people! The class of 1978 are doing a great job as well...in fact they have passed us and have now located more people than we have! Good job Class of 1978!

David Askins and many people from the class of 1978 are trying to access our site and have requested that every post their profiles as public so they can communicate with us. For those of you who may be concerned about a public profile, let me just say that this site is less likely to see accessed by strangers looking to hook up or access personal information since there is no way to search. If your interested in communicating with the class of 1978 please go to your profile information and click the public box to make your page viewable by people outside our class. Thanks!!!

Looking forward to seeing you guys at the reunion. I won't remember anyone but looking forward to it. Once we look past the wrinkles, pot bellies, receding hair & gum lines, I think it'll be a load of laughs. And please accept my apologies now for any offenses from high school!

Everyone stopped chatting in the Forum!  Where did everyone go?  We have several people who have changed e-mail addresses.  Please keep your profiles current so we can keep in touch with you.  I attended the Class of 80 reunion last night and had a great time.  It was great to see everyone.  I was a little disappointed in the turn out.  Each night they has approximately 50 people and I'm pretty sure this included dates and mates.  I was told that they hired a company to handle the search and the event details.  I have to say we did an outstanding job of locating the classmates of 78 and 79!!  We need to think about scheduling a picnic or something soon and I am still in favor of a fall cruise if anyone is up to planning it!!!!  Come on lets get together!!!
