Hey Girl! Great to hear from ya! I don't think we will be able to make the reunion we may be in Wichita getting our kids settled in their house. :( But Roxy and Michelle have gotten some of the WHHS gals togehter for dinner and of course my kids had something going on that night can't remember what it was but we are going to try to do it again! Maybe you can make it up for that too!

OMG... we are growing. This is so much fun checking out everyone's lives. I am already having a blast checking out this site. Jack, you know what a warped mind Jeff Swonger has! You know he is refering to my height. I will have to say some things never change!!Ha Teresa T, Roxie and I were just talking about our next get together. We had a blast... let you know when & where. Everyone keep spreading the word & lets start plans for our 30 NOW!!! Can't wait to see everyone. Anyone know what Ray Wolf is doing these days?

I started calling Michelle "Big one" in abour 8th or 9th grade because she was so small. I call the little bitty wife, "Yes Dear" and I bet Dan does the same. Am I right, big one? By the way, Thanks to your instruction, Penny & I and Haley & Willie have been invited to dancing w/the stars. I think we've got a chance! Tune in.

I see on the Queenie and Big One stuff, kinda thought it was about your size but didn't want to push any buttons. Ray Jo, lives over in the fountains and I see him quite a bit, he is at a Bass Tourney today. I will let him know about this website. See You guys later jb

Just discovered this site today. Hi everyone - looking forward to seeing you at upcoming reunion next year. Anyone know if the class of '79 is having a reunion? Haven't heard of any plans.

Ok, just saw the link to the 2009 reunion. I'd love to go to the Saturday picnic if I'm in town.

I resent that remark about my mind being warped. The proper term would be "twisted".

Hello everyone!
It's great to see everyone enjoying the site! Your class seems to be growing daily.

Mary, sorry I haven't gotten back to you about helping with the site! I have been so busy with school that I have hardly had time to think about anything but the end of the school year. It's winding down and I'm finally able to get back to working on the 78 and 79 reunion that is coming up in June. I am thrilled that you want to help with the site. I will add you to the admin side of the site. When you log in you will see several additional links on the left side of the page. If you have any problems call me. 405-476-3575

Mike...great pictures! Where do you teach?

To everyone else, The classes of 78 and 79 would like to send out an open invitation to the class of 80 to join us of the 30 year reunion. All the details for the event are on both the 78 and 79 sites or you can click the link on the main page of the class of 80 site. We expect it to be a great event. I hope to see you all there! I have fun memories that include many of you. It will be great to see you again. Please attend!

See you soon!

Cristen Warlick, graduate of the class of 1980, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009. I don't know the cause of death. I will post more information as it becomes available. Please watch for information regarding memorial services.

Cris joined the Oklahoma City Police Department in 1994. She will be missed!

Very sorry to hear about the passing of OKC police officer, and classmate, Kristen Warlick-Loftin. I just read on line Daily Oklahoman obit. said funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday, Cherokee Hills Baptist, (Buchanan Funeral Service) Oklahoma City...

Is't it funny how saddening it is to hear about the death of a classmate? I find that even if you didn't know the person on a personal level, which I did not, it still effects us differently because we have a history of several years with the person. I looked Kristen up in our yearbook and after seeing her lovely picture, I did remember her.

I feel truly blessed that we as a class were small enough that we had a knowledge of the people we spent the most impressionable years of our lives with.

I hope to remember Kristen and all of our other classmates that have passed before her in my heart and prayers. Also the families they have left behind. I also hope that I don't take for granted the ones that are so dear to me and are still here today.

Great response Michelle, and ditto for me too!! Sorry I'm not able to make the funeral...but my prayers are with family and friends...

Jack, sorry about the loss of a fellow officer..I can only imagine how it affects all of you great guys...

A big WELCOME to all! This is sooooo ~ GREAT ~ to have more classmates joining site. Please keep passing info. I've also posted an announcement on 'classmates' site.

Jeff, it's ok to cry at the wedding..i'm afraid a box of tissue from Idabel wouldn't have gotten to you in time..

Jeff, Jeff, Jeff, how are you holding up? I have bought extra kleenex for Sat. I know this is hard on you but you are getting a great son-in-law. I can hardly wait to see that beautiful daughter of yours in her wedding dress. I'm looking forward to seeing your Mom & Dad again as well as Kathy & Timmy too.

Remember what I told you,... no tears or anything else on the bridal gown!!! I mean it. LOL

She is going to be a beautiful bride, and you are going to be the perfect father! Now I"ll see you on Sat. and I want to see a smile on your face when you have that father daughter dance!:-)

Hey big one, I lost it last night,(Thurs.). Cried like a baby for a bit, It's probably a good thing. Penny tells me I'm finally getting in touch w/ my feminine side.

5-29-09 Had rehearsal and dinner. when the pastor asked who gives this woman in matrimony, I got choked up and just said "whatever". Hope I don't do that tomorow.

OMG!! Get a hold of yourself! Penny is going to kill you if you say "whatever". LOL You won't do that tonight. Do you want me to sit close so I can make faces at you to get you out of your funk? You know I will, that's what friends are for. You are not giveing her up!!! She will always be yours. Now make us all proud & don't screw up LOL!!! See you tonight:-)

We're coming down to mere hours now. I have fashioned a beach towel to wear around my neck to try to keep most of the snot off of my tux and the girl's gowns. I think it looks really smokin' hot! Tell me what you think when you see it. Penny says maybe I can buy a corvette after the wedding to make me feel better, maybe this will help my funk. (plus I'd like to outdo my pansy brother and his shelby mustang).

We made it through! Thanks Big One, for your's and Dan's support, It really meant a lot. I think I did pretty good aside from the waltz becoming a waddle. Haley was supposed to lead but I think I screwed up the following. Thank God we only had the one. I don't think I could ever do that again. .
