Resolution
Whereas, God has called him home from his dear family, Calvin Harris, who passed from labor to reward and to a land far fairer than ours on December 4, 2009 – and
Whereas, Calvin Harris is a member of the Millwood High School graduating class of 1994, who share the family’s grief at his home going. We remember vividly how his joy filled the hallways, humor graced the classrooms and personality touched our lives – and
Whereas, our wise Heavenly Father has taken Calvin Harris, a true Christian of his to be with him in a land far more beautiful than he has ever known – and
Whereas, Calvin Harris served his family and friends with all of his heart, and his life radiated his love for his Master and his faithfulness to his fellow man – and
Whereas, Calvin Harris was so dearly loved by all with whom he associated and lives he touched. We are all better people today because we knew him.
Now therefore be it resolved that the Millwood High School Class of 1994 do hereby leave these words of solace to his Mother (Mrs. Linda Benefee), Father (Mr. Calvin Harris), brother (Cory Harris), children (Jasmine, Jamari, and Jenesis), other family members and the many friends of Calvin Harris ------
We embrace you because all of us have a common bond that will connect us for the rest of your lives. We can not replace Calvin, but will attempt to demonstrate his love for you.
We know your loss is deep and your sorrow is great, but we want you to know that we share in your sorrow, but more importantly, we recognize that this loss is Heaven's Gain.
Humble and respectfully submitted,
Millwood High School Class of 1994
