
Renee Jeannine (Bull) Copenhaver, 46, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 17, 2014 at her home at in Bartlesville, Oklahoma after a long battle with cancer.
Renee was born in Oklahoma City on May 21, 1967, the daughter of David Stephens and Jerry J. Shannon, both of Lindsey, Oklahoma and was gifted through adoption to Robert and Phyllis Bull of Okmulgee, Oklahoma joining an older brother, Darrell Bull.
Renee grew up in Okmulgee and met her soul mate, Granville Copenhaver and they married December 28, 1985. She attended Oklahoma State University Technical Branch in Okmulgee graduating with a Business Computer Science Degree in 1987. Her husband and she moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma for her job at First National Bank following her graduation.
In 1994, she came into contact with her birth family, left First National Bank and moved to Houston, Texas where she worked at the Houston Pilots Association. She enjoyed getting to know her biological family and found a sense of completeness. She discovered that her parents had three more biological children before separating ways and that she also had a half-brother.
In 1995, she moved back to Okmulgee, and worked for Wynn Communications, Citizens National Bank and Creoks Mental Health before moving back to Bartlesville in 1999. After a few years with Walmart, she went to work at Jane Phillips Hospital where she worked until her illness.
