Wendell Lee Baldridge died Saturday May 2, 1987 in a Tulsa hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle-car accident on Friday. He was 19 years of age.
Wendell was born August 29, 1967 in Okmulgee, and graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1985. He had been an employee of Gibson's for the past two years and was a student at Oklahoma State University Technical Branch at the time of his death. Wendell was a member of the Crosstown Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Pallbearers will be Danny Morris, David Frederick, Leon Stagger, Tom McAfee, Scott Fite, Dane Couch, Phillip Wright, Mark Baldridge, Keith Baldridge, Aaron Baldridge, Paul Baldridge and Steven Baldridge.
