Shirley Kay (Ratcliffe) Hinderliter, 67, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 at her home.  Shirley was born October 18, 1957 in Olney, the daughter of Ted Ratcliffe and Judy (Collins) Weir.

Shirley was an East Richland High School graduate, class of 1975, where she was a cheerleader for all four years. She was a lifelong lover of music and passed that love down to her sons. She worked for many years for her mother at Judy's Hux, as well as in the deli at Walmart. After working with the public for so long, she grew to know everyone in town. Shirley was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Shirley is survived by her son, Jordan (Jana) Hinderliter of Olney and Jody (Emily) Hinderliter of Glen Carbon, IL; granddaughters, Danni Murphy and Cameron Murphy; siblings, Julia (Troy) Surratt of Beardstown, IL, Michael Ratcliffe of Olney, Terri Griffith of Collinsville, IL, Jeff Ratcliffe of Olney, Steve (Danielle) Ratcliffe of Hutsonville, IL, and Sherri (Bryan) Gibson of Calhoun, IL, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Nicholas Hinderliter.

Cremation Rites will be accorded, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
