Elkhorn. Preceded in death by father, William Lipscomb. Survived by mother, Helen Grierson and step-father George Cramton of Omaha; her children, Anna Rock, Matthew Jump and Kristen Jump; grandchildren, Joseph, Sarah, Alexis and Connor; her spouse of 25 years, Greg Jump; and her sister, Lisa Grierson. Julie was born in Lexington, KY to Bill and Helen Lipscomb, and grew up in Omaha. She graduated from North High School, and continued her education at University of Nebraska, Lincoln, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She joined the Air Force as an Officer, and served for 18 years, retiring with the rank of Major. During that time, she was an OB-Gyn Nurse, and received her Master's Degree in Nursing Management. After retiring from the Air Force, she and her family returned to Omaha, where she continued working as a civilian Nurse. Taking care of people was always her passion, and she found much joy in helping others. Her hobbies included astronomy, arts and crafts, and music. The lights of Julie's life were her children and grandchildren. She was a loving spouse and daughter, and a friend to many. Her very special pet dog, Pippie, passed before her at age 14.

VISITATION Sunday, July 13, 6-8pm at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home. MILITARY GRAVESIDE SERVICE Tuesday, July 15, at 10am at Forest Lawn Cemetery 7909 Mormon Bridge Rd. Memorials suggested to: Nebraska Humane Society; or Wounded Warriors.
