Ronald Bojanski

After graduation I joined the National Guard and attended UNO. I earned both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Aviation and went to work for United Express flying regional turboprops. After that I went to work for Ryan International Airlines flying Boeing 727s. Eventually, because of the poor economic conditions of the airline industry and then Sept 11th, I took a corporate flying job in Omaha with ConAgra and then Kiewit Corporation. I met my wife the night before my brother Steve's (class of 90) wedding, and we married in Jan of 2006. I earned my MBA-Finance degree from Bellevue University recently since all of my education was too narrowly focused on Aviation.

I was reading some of the other profiles and realized how lame my page was without some comments. I forgot about that "No Damn More" speech the school was given during our junior or senior year. I really enjoyed playing drums in high school and wanted to do it for a living. Rehearsing for musicals and other shows was a blast except for some of the late nights just before the musicals when things weren't coming together and Brother Steve or Jerry had us there late when we had to get up for school the next day.

I do remember Mausbach heating up a lighter flint in our Tac Room and throwing it on the floor causing sparks and smoke! It was funny now, but I think we were all freaked at the time, and Miss Pegilitis (however her name was spelled) came storming over and no one would say anything.

I can't believe it has been so long ago and that I'm not the youngest guy in the room anymore, so to speak. We can't make this years reunion but hopefully will make the next one.
