Catherine Mary (Irving) Leitch

Catherine Mary Leitch, age 80, of Sun City West, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022.  She was born on May 21, 1941, to the late James A. and Catherine (Hunt) Irving in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.  She attended University of Wisconsin-River Falls in the graduating class of 1986.  On May 25, 1986, she married Paul J. Leitch in River Falls, WI.  Catherine worked as a teacher for Chippewa Valley Technical College and was involved with teaching English as a second language.  This was a love of Catherine’s, and she had many long-term friendships with past students.  She was a member of PEO and a Past President of Chapter EK in Sun City West, AZ.  She also was a member of Desert Palm Presbyterian Church.

Catherine is survived by her loving spouse of 36 years, Paul; five children and stepchildren, Lori Kennedy (Tom), John Kunkle, Susan Killgallon (Cleat), Linda Dworschack (James), and Steven Leitch (Lori); two sisters, Patti Wheeler (David), and Sally Irving Cook (Michael); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her son, Scott.

Memorial and Graveside services will be held this summer in Wisconsin.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in Catherine’s honor may be made to the Cottey College General Fund, c/o PEO Chapter EK, 12802 W. Flagstone Drive, Sun City West, AZ 85375.
