Former teacher at Albion School for 4 years, Indian Hills Jr. High and Omaha South High School for 30 years.  Recipient of the Alice Buffett Outstanding Teacher Award in 1994.

Preceded in death by; Brother John Yelnek; Sister Mary Jakocko and Brother-in-law Bob Jakocko

Survived by; Sisters Ruth (Jim) Rose and Faye Flowers; Nephews Steve (Susan) Rose, James Rose Jr. and Wade (Patricia) Evans; Niece Wendy (Troy) Quick.
