Pug was a wonderfully good-hearted man. He was big, and often looked gruff, but he was not gruff. He was a teddy bear, with a loving spirit.
Pug was a school teacher for all his career, mostly at Benson High School in Omaha.
He was one of the best grandpas one could have...and this is being written by the other grandpa of some of his grandchildren.
Pug is buried by his baby son Robert James Davey (#18175358) in Fort Calhoun, Ne.
Pug's father was Clarence LeRoy "Boy" Davey (born 1908 in Omaha, NE; died 1988 in Omaha). His mother was Kathryn Ann "Kay" Wilkinson Davey (born 1911 in Shelton, NE; died 1996 in Omaha). Pug was the oldest of six children: Pug, Phillip Clarence Davey, Walter Bernard "Buzzy" Davey, Sally Kay Davey Mitchell, Susan LeAnn "Sue" Davey Buckman, and Matthew Timothy "Tim" Davey.
Pug and his wife (Carol Lenore Piper) had five children: Steven Charles "Steve" Davey, Scott Lee Davey, Sandra Leigh "Sandi" Davey Cook, Robert James Davey (who lived only two days), and Kurt Allan Davey.
