Only child of Frank and Lora McBRIDE FRISBIE.  Attended rural school at Amboy as a child.  Graduated from Red Cloud High School in 1919?
Graduated from the University of Nebraska.
Taught school at Central High for Omaha Public Schools.
Instrumental in establishing the retirement housing for OPS teachers.
~Co-authored MURDER AT THE MILL and others with Gunnar Horn as a retirement endeavor.
~One of the founders of what is now known as the Willa Cather Foundation
