Preceded in death by sister, Irene; mother, Ida; father, John; brother, Ervin Kastanek. Survived by daughters, Linda (Roger) Lantz, Susan (Randy) Allen; grandchildren, Jennifer (Trinity) Kobiela, Brice (Katie) Allen, Emilee Allen, Lindsie Salmans; great grandchildren, Bryce and Braden Kobiela; former husband and friend, Joe Lindquist.

Mrs. Lindquist was an educator for over 50 years. The last 38 years of her career were spent teaching for the Omaha Public School District at Boyd Elementary in Northwest Omaha. She taught in the same Kindergarten classroom at Boyd from 1961-1999 where she touched the lives of hundreds of children and their families in the Keystone community. Mrs. Lindquist always believed in the saying "All I really need to know, I learned in Kindergarten."
