Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Agnes. Survived by brothers, Dave (Vaughnda) Lumphrey, Den (Karen) Lumphrey; nieces, Caprice Bastos, Tonya Philippi, and close friends.

Nick was a teacher of mathematics in Omaha Public Schools for 32 years. He attended Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City, Saint John’s College, Loras College and University of Minnesota. Nick was a baseball and fishing fan, a painter, and music lover.
