abt. 1958 - June 2018

Age 60 Rebecca J. Woods, of Omaha, was Baptized into the Hope of Christ's Resurrection on May 29, 2018 after many months of battling pancreatic and liver cancer. Becky taught for 32 years at Northwest High School (OPS), and for 5 years at College of St. Mary's.

Cherished daughter of Jane A. and the late Dr. Ralph E. Woods; beloved sister of Mark (Kara), Tim (Nancy), and Matt (Suzanne) Woods; treasured aunt of Andrew, Christina, Alex, Brian, Maggie, and Nick Woods; precious "sister in the Patrick Stewart/Star Trek: TNG Fan Club" of Kim Gargis; our much-loved cousin, niece, and friend. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucy and Richard Woods, and Mary and William Steis.

Becky's family thanks Dr. Negendra Natarajan, the staff at Nebraska Cancer Specialists, and the VNA Hospice team for their compassionate care.

MEMORIAL MASS: June 30, 11am at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
