Elaine Spier (Krumme) VIEW PROFILE

Age 80. Born in Nebraska City to parents Walter and Emma (Vrtiska) Spier, both deceased. She grew up in Omaha, graduated from South High School. Received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Peru State College and a Master's Degree from UNO in Guidance and Counseling. She taught and counseled for 37 years in the Omaha Public Schools having served at Benson High, Beveridge Jr./Sr. High, Central High and the Central Office.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles E. (Chuck) Krumme; two children, Dave (Lisa) Krumme and Jodie (Jeff) Lenser; two granddaughters, Emily and Madison Lenser; sister-in-law, Carole (Tom) Rezac; and many cousins and nephews.

Elaine was a member of the Omaha Retired Educators Organization and Kappa Kappa Iota, a National Honorary Teacher's Sorority. Past president of the Omaha Area Peru Alumni Association. After retirement Elaine enjoyed part time living in both Omaha and Okoboji, IA.

VISITATION: Thursday, 5-7pm, at Mortuary.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, 11am, at Presbyterian Church of the Cross, 1517 S. 114th St.

Interment: Evergreen Memorial Park.

Memorials may be directed to the Nebraska Humane Society or the Peru State College Foundation, Peru, NE.
