Tammy M. Krug, age 49, of Council Bluffs, passed away at her home on May 9, 2019.

Tammy was born March 13, 1970 in Dayton, Ohio to Frank and Lillian (Jensen) Jeppesen. She graduated from Lewis Central High School in 1988; earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from UNO in Music and Early Childhood Education and her Master’s Degree from Creighton University in Education Administration. Tammy was a teacher for the Plattsmouth, Nebraska Head Start; teacher for Omaha Public Schools and Sacred Heart School in Omaha. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and a member of the Teacher’s Union.

Tammy was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Louise Davis; grandparents, Louie and Jacqueline Jensen, Franklin and Florence Jeppesen; uncles, Jack and Jerry Jensen.

She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Krug of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and her children Brayden and Bryce Swiggart; son, Jordan (Kara) Krug of Council Bluffs; parents, Frank and Lillian Jeppesen of Council Bluffs; brothers, Michael Jeppesen (Wendy Boham) of Branson, Missouri, Timothy (Lori) Jeppesen of Pineville, Louisiana; aunts, uncles and cousins.

VISITATION with the family Monday from 6-8pm at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel.

CELEBRATION of LIFE SERVICE: Tuesday 10:30am at the Funeral Home. Inurnment in Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the college fund for Tammy's grandsons, Brayden and Bryce Swiggart.
