Age 86 - Feb 27, 2011

Omaha. Harry graduated from Northeast High, Kansas City, MO in 1942. In 1943 he enlisted in U. S. Navy serving as a Pharmacist Mate 1st Class on Leyte and Okinawa.

He received a BS degree from Doane College and a Masters from Kansas State University. He taught biology and was science supervisor for Omaha Public Schools, retiring in 1987.

He volunteered at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge.

Preceded in death by mother, Reeta Duncan; sister, Mary Lee Wynn. Survived by Phyllis, wife of 61 years; daughters, Kathy (Rick) Rogo of Ocala, FL, Sue (David) Dodson of Lincoln, NE, Sandy (Kevin) Hopkins of McFarland, WI, Caryl (Chad) Boyer of Verona, WI; grandchildren, Danielle Rogo, Will and Tess Hopkins, Kelsey and Laura Knutsen.

MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11am at Presbyterian Church of the Master (10710 Corby Cir)

Inurnment, Private at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
