Paul was born Feb. 6, 1971, in La Crosse and graduated from Onalaska High School in 1989. Paul worked as a coordinator at Geographical Information Systems, Waukesha, Wis. He married Janine Rendall on June 20, 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Janine; sons, Nolan and Liam; parents, William and Rita Cockrell of La Crosse; paternal grandparents, William and Frances Cockrell; sister, Coreen Cockrell; brother, Keith (Colleen) Cockrell; Janine's parents, Thomas and Carol Rendall of Madison; Janine's grandmother, Laura; and Janine's brother, Brian Rendall.

He was preceded is death by his maternal grandparents, Edmund and Veronica.

Services were held April 18 at Krause Funeral Home, New Berlin, with burial in La Crosse Catholic Cemetery.
