Wow-I need to check in here more often--didn't even know Charlie had passed away--I didn't have a lot of friends in High School  but "Chunk" was one of them.  Last time I saw him was probably 1972 at what would become Coneheads.  Probably my wierdest memory with Charlie involved Gussies and a road trip from hell back in the winter of 69-70.  RIP Buddy!

I know some people who were planning on coming but they did not sign up on this site. That was a problem. Maybe we can try again next year and have it at Chapman Park, like several people wanted. Too bad....

Fight nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It just needs to have more time to take off. Maybe there needs to be a place closer to Oneida for those that stay with family members.

I think most people have cars. Lets vote next year where to have it and make everyone happy. What's the minimum number for a picnic? 20?

Am I the only one who considers this website to be deader than a doornail?  Isn't there an alternative out there?  Dennis, you and Sue seem to be the only people that visit here at all.  I guess this means that any attempt to organize a get together this summer will meet with no success.

George, Don't give up hope. Dennis was saying that he may help Rob with the site. Volunteer to help get things moving. We'll see.

Hi to everyone. I just wanted to share a story about Georgie Fallon. The old bowling alley in Sylvan Beach was sold and turned into a deli. The back part of the store was tunrned into vendor booths for people to sell things. My husband and I like places like that and would meander around there every month or so. We saw 2 really nice wing chairs and bought them. My husband was going out of town for a week or so and we did not have our van with us at the time of purchase. The guy at the desk stated that most venders usually had items to restock their areas quickly and could not hold sold items. He did call this vendor who stated that she could deliver the chairs in a few days, as we lived in the village.

That Sunday I returned to meet the vendor and give directions to my house. Oh my gosh!! It was Georgiana Fallon! I was so excited. I helped her put the chairs into her van and she followed me to my house. She told me that she had taken an upolstrery class about 25 years ago and had been doing it ever since. Once we go to my house and had unloaded the chairs we had a nice, enjoyable visit.

I will always remember that day and the nice visit with an old classmate.

Nice, Debby. I was going to have Georgianna reupholster my grandmothers rocking chair. Because of my procrastination, that will  never happen. Georgianna was very good at reupholstering furniture.
