Will anyone miss Leno at 10pm?

I won't. They tried the experiment and it apparently bombed. I watched it a couple times and it seemed exactly like his old format from 11:30pm. I wasn't ready to see that kind of show at 10pm when there are other better programs on I'd rather watch. They knew going in that ratings for talk shows were different and "down" from prime time shows, so I can't see where anyone would be surprised at the outcome. I also don't see what the big deal is about him going back to his old time slot and all. So they move Conan and the rest back too and all is well. It's not like these guys tape the shows live and have to stay up late and later, etc. It's mainly their egos and prestige that are in the way and getting tweaked.

Take an afternoon nap and then your mom might let you stay up late enough to watch it.

It's not that I don't stay up late, It's just that I usually watch something more mentally stimulating such as Discovery channel or the History channel. So there, hardy har har, smarty pants!

For a long while I had no other choice than to watch either Leno or Letterman if I turned on the TV. Like Lizard, I live in the sticks and couldn't get cable so had to rely on the local transmitter to supply us with entertainment? Unfortunately we could only receive 2 major networks....CBS and NBC, no Fox or ABC. Finally, last year we broke down and got satellite service so that like you Sue, we can now watch some decent programming when we decide to turn on the telly.

I don't watch much broadcast tv--currently I'm about 1/3 of the way through watching every episode of "Prisoner Cell Block H" on dvd-so for me Jay's pretty much irrelevant

But I do like "The Middle"--anyone else?

Hey Bobby V, good to see you back. Did you get your problems fixed or have to get a new PC?

Yeah, I've seen The Middle and like it also. Cougartown is alright too but there is a serious lack of good sitcoms anywhere on the tube. I can always resort to Seinfeld reruns when I need a good laugh.

Who have the Yankee's gotten to fill Matsui's shoes? The Angels are contemplating playing him in the outfield daily. Wonder how long he'll last like that?
