Mark E. Ginter, age 73, passed away on December 3, 2024, at his residence in Oneida, NY.  Mark was born in Oneida, on June 21, 1951, and lived in the area his entire life.

He was predeceased by his parents, Edward F. Ginter and Jacqueline (Larkin) Ginter. He is survived by four siblings, Catherine Ferber (Fred - deceased) of Lakeland, FL, Edward W. Ginter of Portland, OR, Steven Ginter (JoAnn) of Hummelstown, PA and Richard Ginter (Mary) of Vernon Center, NY; as well as seven nieces and nephews. 

Mark was a graduate of Oneida High School and Powelson Business Institute, Syracuse, NY.  He served honorably as a Vietnam era veteran in the U.S. Army.

In his younger years, Mark enjoyed hunting and won awards for his marksmanship.  He was a member of the Durhamville Veterans Club. 

The family would like to recognize and express their sincere gratitude to the Oneida County Department of Mental Health and the Veterans Administration Mental Health Clinic, Rome, NY for the excellent care Mark received for many years.

Arrangements are being handled by Coolican & McSweeney & Paul Funeral Home, Oneida, Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Durhamville at the convenience of the family.
