

Debra A. Den Haese (Deb) passed away on Monday, May 6th, 2024, at Albany Medical Center after a valiant battle with liver and kidney disease.She was born on October 3, 1951, to the late Bud and Hannah (Jones) Moore in Oneida, New York. She was predeceased by her much-loved brother Danny Moore in 2018. Deb was a lifelong resident of the Oneida and Sherrill areas and attended Oneida schools and received her Associate Degree from Mohawk Valley Community College.Deb retired in 2014 after 40 years of service in the accounting department of Oneida Silver.Deb is survived by her husband of 25 years, Rick, of Sherrill; her son Aaron Hatch his partner (Tracy Conniff) and his son Liam Hatch of Sherrill; her stepdaughter Nell (Bryan) Garvey and their children Jonah & Kye Garvey of Syracuse; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.Deb’s journey was marked by dedication, love and a profound commitment to her family and friends. She could not walk by a baby or toddler without cuddling, hugging and adoring them! Deb enjoyed traveling with her family and friends to the ocean and beach, she loved cruises and swimming pools! She was a pretty darn good pitch player too! She was a ‘mom’ to all of Aarons friends who grew up at their house. She welcomed all.The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love and support of Deb’s long-time friends Sharon Mercier, Cindy Hastings and Cindy Tormey.Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, from Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc. 260 Main Street, Oneida, NY 13421.
