Guy M. “Mick” Sansone, 73, Maple Drive, died Sunday, February 9, 2025, in Oneida Healthcare, in the presence of his loved ones who provided care and support.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 17, 1951, he was the son of Thomas and Lois Stephen Sansone. Raised in Oneida, Mick was a graduate of Oneida High School and Delhi College. He resided in Las Vegas for thirty-five years before returning to Oneida.

A longtime manager in the hospitality industry, Mick was employed with Harrah’s in Las Vegas. He was an avid sports fan and collector of Lionel trains.

Surviving is his longtime significant other, Darlene Johnson of Las Vegas; his two sisters, Patricia Ann Sansone Byram of Manassas, Virginia and Katherine Sansone of Utica; his sister-in- law, Debra Sansone of Burlington, North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Michael Sansone and Stephen Sansone and his nephew, Thomas Sansone.

Spring graveside services will be held, at the convenience of the family, at the family plot in St. Helena’s Cemetery.  Contributions, in his memory, may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Road, New Hartford, NY 13413.
