Lorelei A. “Lori” Branigan, 58, of 5105 Freeman Road, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 in University Hospital, Syracuse, after becoming ill at her residence on Monday evening.

She was born July 1, 1951, in New York Mills, the daughter of Alex “Wally” and Florence Kohlmier Segal.

On March 12, 1980, she was united in marriage to John P. Branigan in Hawaii.

Mrs. Branigan was the village clerk of Munnsville for seven years and was also employed as a bookkeeper for Catherine Benson CPA.

She had been affiliated with the Stockbridge Valley School PTO and had been vice president and treasurer of the Stockbridge Little League.

Surviving are her husband, John; one son, Sean Branigan of Cazenovia; one daughter, Colleen Branigan of Astoria, Queens, N.Y.; her mother, Florence Segal of Oneida; one brother, Loren Segal of Oneida. She was predeceased by her father in 1998.
