Deborah S. Doran, 71, Glenwood Avenue, died Monday, May 22, 2023, in Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been a medical patient for the past two and one-half weeks.Born in Oneida, on October 28, 1951, she was the daughter of Nicholas and Betty 'Becky' Cunningham Spinelli. A lifelong resident of Oneida, Debbie was a graduate of Oneida High School, Class of 1969. She married Patrick E. 'Red' Doran, Sr., in St. Agatha's Church, Canastota, on April 17, 1971.Prior to her retirement in 2017, Debbie was Vice President of Access Federal Credit Union, with forty years of service and was formerly employed with Oneida Limited, Silversmiths. She served on the board of directors of the Kallet Civic Center, was very involved with Special Olympics and active as a volunteer in various civic organizations and activities. Debbie was of the Catholic faith.Surviving besides her husband, Patrick 'Red' are her daughter, Karrie Schloop of Utica; her son, Patrick E. 'PJ' Doran, Jr. and his fiance, Elaine Collins of Oneida; two sisters, Darcel (Boco) Williams of Durhamville and Darlene (Randy) Booth of Mooresville, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Janine Spinelli of Oneida; six grandchildren, Daniel Collins, Logan Doran, Bryce Doran, Steven Schloop, Brenna Schloop and Dalton Schloop; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Dennis Spinelli in 2017 and a sister, Denise Miller in 2018.Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday (5/31/23) from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Main Street, Oneida, with the Reverend Nathan Brooks, officiating.
