I haven't seen Delgracia since high school but have many fond memories. We were in Drama Club together. She had attended Marylawn of the Oranges before Orange High and was very quiet when she first started but soon made many friends. We had most of all our classes together and she was always able to gross me out in science class with her antics especially when we had disection in Biology. She was sweet, talented, and intellegent. God Keep You and Rest in Peace.
Wow,I have so may fond memories of Delgracia. She became my friend through my sister Margaret and we were in several classes together, most notably Drama which was taught by Ruth Baskerville.Delgracia was charming, funny aand beautiful inside and out.I remember performing with her in plays and us laughing and playing jokes on each other.May God hold her in his loving embrace always.R.I.P Delgracia-You were loved and you shall be missed always-your friend James.
Hello, my name is Allazandra Bass and I am the only daughter of DelGracia Robinson. I happened to come across this In Memory page of my mother and the comments left by you and your classmates has moved me to tears. I would just like you to know that I very much appreciate your kind words of memory that you and your classmates have left behind.
Sincerely and With Love

Your very welcome for the note and yes you have my permission to add anything i said to your page. It truly touches me to hear that her past friends have such wonderful fond memories of her. My mother was an amazing person, i am very much aware of that and its so nice to hear stories and be able to connect to her high school years.
As soon as I am able to upload them, I will send you any pictures of her that I have for your slideshow. She lived a good life, and though there was suffering and pain, the happy loving jokester DelGracia that you described was there through it all. She got married, had two children (myself and my older brother), worked at Malcolm X Shabazz high school and continued on with her love and devotion to teaching and theater. Im not sure if you ever met or know her mother, Odessa Robinson, but if you have she is still around and i can give you her contact information. if you have any questions or need any information, whether it is for your website or on a personal note, please please feel free to ask. i'd be more than happy to help in any way i can. Her funerary program was uploaded onto a dedication website if you would like to view it- http://www.quincey.com/delgracia.htm
I remember Delgracia oh so well! It is with genuine sorrow that I read of her death. I pray peace for her son and daughter. Delgracia will be remembered in my heart forever. She was a unique and beautiful person. Her smile was always big and her eyes were always bright. She brought light to a room when she entered.
I knew Delgracia I knew her for many years. Then we lost touch. I just wanted her daughter to know, she was good people. And as for her Grandmother; Ms. Robinson was my second grade teacher in Jefferson School, Vauxhall. I remember, she was my teacher the day President Kennedy was killed. Just wanted to share. I Ms Del, a lot!
