Lisa D. Lane, of East Orange, NJ, passed suddenly on Sunday, December 12, 2004. She was the beloved daughter of Rosetta & Jerry and sister of Tammy, Tasha, Markell, Michelle and Niair. Lisa is also survived by other relatives and friends.
lisa lane was one of my closest froms from heywood elementary.i use to walk to scotland rd to her apt, she lived across from the blue sky store most heywood kids are familiar with the blue sky right next to scotland drug store..anyway if i didnt come get lisa, she would be late everyday..sometimes we were still late trying to get lisa and her sister tasha together(the third sister was young and went to a babysitter)if we didnt finish a school project or had a test, we would skip school and walk around orange all day. we lost touch ,because she moved but we picked the friendship back up in orange middle. i was one of the kids that moved from orange to newark by then, but i wanted to stay with my friends..i took the bus home one day and lisa gets on ,she tells me i live on norwood and i lived on halsted our backyards were facing each other ,when we couldnt sleep we would talk out our windows until late....living in georgia i didnt know she had passed she will be sorely missed
Lisa was a very close friend of mine, She will be missed. I can remember when we use to stay the night over at each other's house and I can remember the puppy love Lisa and my brother Donnell shared. I will miss that smile and laugh of her's. I can just picture her with little bitty short self and that bob hair style.
Marsena will be forwarding some information on Lisa. I know it was a few years ago. Maybe around 2000, she was shot near Central Avenue in a car with a relative.
I think i went to school with lisa lane, not sure if its the same person... waiting for photo, we went to lincoln ave together,she was a very nice person and we had fun, very pretty,, i used to joke around with saying i was superman,,LOL
