Place Volleyball memories here.

Volleyball is still my favorite sport and do get a chance to play some.  I remember in elementary school playing Orangefield they came on to the court barefooted.   Even in our sheltered state, we thought that was different.

Yep, volleyball was good and it didn't matter how short we were, we still got to play.  Not true today -- my younger daughter was the shortest player on her high school team and she's 5'7".  Best all time memory was beating Stark to win our tournament.  Of course, football got all the money and attention and a coach who actually knew something about the game, but we still did well.  Mary, Carolyn, Shirley, Gloria -- just the best teammates ever.  And forgive me if I've forgotten anyone in our class - am writing this very quickly.

Kathleen, I am sure you are wanting to make a point about money, coaches, recourses, etc all going to the Football Program, but I am not making a connection......
