Services for Ronald J. Heinrich, an entrepreneur who owned several businesses, were held today in Full Gospel Tabernacle, Orchard Park. Burial was in United German & French Cemetery, Cheektowaga.

Heinrich, 44, of Blasdell, was killed Thursday (Oct. 23, 2003) when the sport utility vehicle he was driving crossed the center line of Eggert Road and crashed into a tree in the Eggertsville area of Amherst.

Born in Buffalo, he graduated from Orchard Park High School and attended Erie Community College.

He owned several businesses in Buffalo, Amherst and Orchard Park, including self-service laundries, concessions, construction and real estate. For several years, he also had served on the board of directors of the New York State Showpeople's Association.

Heinrich was very involved in Full Gospel Tabernacle, particularly the Married Couples Fellowship. He was instrumental in construction of Grace House, a halfway house for parolees.

He was active in the Boy Scouts and was a sportsman. He was known for always being willing to lend a helping hand and having a big smile for everyone.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jeanne Marie Bellanca; a daughter, Chloe Marie of Blasdell; two sons, Remington L. and Reid C., both of Blasdell; his parents, Reuben and Betty of Orchard Park; and two sisters, Deborah Powers of Wilmington, N.C., and Melanie of Long Branch, N.J.
