SUN PRAIRIE Scott E. Lawyer, age 34, passed away at his home on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009. He was born on March 16, 1975, in Madison. Scott was a 1993 graduate of Oregon High School. He was employed with H and H Electric in the sheet met...al department and prior to that, worked for 10 years with Sub-Zero. Scott loved playing hockey as a youth and enjoyed camping with his family. He was a sports enthusiast and especially loved the Packers. He loved and enjoyed Anne's children. Scott is survived by his father, James (Sherry) Lawyer of Oregon; his mother, Lynn (Robert) Jones of Sun Prairie; his brothers, Jeremy Lawyer of Sacramento, Calif., Gregory Lawyer of Brooklyn, and Marc Lawyer of Sacramento, Calif.; his sister, Amber (Matt Buros) Jones of Sun Prairie; maternal grandfather, Robert Conners of Sun Prairie; paternal grandparents, Rex and Alice Lawyer of Sun Prairie; girlfriend, Anne Duddleston-Starr and her children, Trevor, Hunter and Nathan Starr; aunts, uncles, a niece, cousins and friends. Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at noon at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. Family and friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A reception will follow in the community room at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
