What have I been up to since 1985? Well...time has flown by. I attended BYU after high school for four years. Married a great guy, Carl Britsch, and we have had four children that have kept us busy but happy. McKay is our oldest and he is currently serving a mission in the Seoul Korea West Mission. He will complete his mission in October 2010. Courtney has just completed her freshman year at BYU Provo. Hunter will be in 8th grade and Karsyn will be in the 5th grade in the fall. We have had the opportunity of living in many places since we left Utah in 1989 due to job transfers with my husband's companies. We have lived in Idaho, Philadelphia PA, Detroit Michigan, Louisville Kentucky, London England, Houston Texas, and most recently, the Portland Oregon area. It has given us a great opportunity to get to know different parts of the country as well as Europe. We moved to the Portland Oregon area this past January. We live about 30 minutes outside of Portland on the Washington side of the river. My husband works for a renewable energy company called Iberdrola Renewables USA as their Senior V.P. of HR. The company specializes in wind energy and natural gas trading. As far as my education, I finished my nursing degree and have worked as an RN in the maternity department and have also taught childbirth education classes, breastfeeding, etc. at the hospital.
Some of the things our family likes to do are traveling, snow skiing, playing tennis, exploring the areas that we have lived, hiking and outdoor activities.
