Janet Lynne Case Norman, 68, of American Fork, Utah, passed away unexpectedly at Utah Valley Hospital. Our beloved wife, mom, sister, grandma and great grandmother passed away peacefully on February 17, 2013 surrounded by her loving family, where she was reunited with her parents and two beloved brothers. She could not control the way she died, but she controlled the way she lived for which she will always be remembered with her positive attitude, living life to the fullest. She faced her many trials with tenacity and strength. She was born on January 1, 1945 to Glen LeRoy and Wilma Pierce Case in Provo, Utah. She was the sixth of eleven children born into this union. She met the love of her life in the seventh grade, Jimmy Norman. Married on October 11, 1963, they spent 55 years walking hand in hand, side by side together. Janet enjoyed working alongside her husband and sons doing drywall for over 25 years, she was very proud of her work and their reputation for quality work. Janet's positive attitude and spirit captivated all she came in contact with. There was nothing she could not do, she was unique in everything and took great pride in her many crafts and she was excellent in everything she accomplished. She shared her talents and creations with all her loved ones. She always retained her work ethic and had the interfaith and perserverance throughout her life. She lived for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her love, passion and top priority in her life. She was a member of the LDS Church American Fork 8th Ward and tried to fulfill her calling to the best of her ability.
