William Michael Jensen, beloved father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2015 in Oxnard, California from lung cancer. 

Mike was born May 17, 1945 in Provo, Utah. His parents are Moroni Abraham Jensen and Mary Jean Reynolds Jensen. He was the third child in a family of six, and the first son.

His formative years were spent in Orem, Utah where he attended and graduated from Orem High School in the class of 1963.

After high school, he worked in construction and enlisted in the US Army. He served for two years as a combat engineer in Panama and was discharged in 1966. After returning home, he continued to work as a heavy equipment operator and he and his brother set up their own business.

Mike married Cynthia (Cindy) Rae Heaps on August 28, 1972 in Elko, Nevada, and they settled in Orem, Utah. A son, Christopher Michael, was born on January 23, 1974 and brought great joy into his parents lives. After eight years of marriage, they divorced. Mike later married Carolyn Wells.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Moroni and Jean Reynolds Jensen, and is survived by his son, Christopher and daughter-in-law, Stacy Biesinger Jensen, his grandsons, Keaton, Andrew and Matthew Jensen; his siblings, Gloria (Dennis) Lesher, Karen (Jim) Hunt, Kathleen (David) Anderson, Jan Paul (Carole) Jensen and Gayle (Jerry) Brereton.
