Tim Allen

Timothy Tanner Allan "The Trapper", 56, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 10, 2001 doing what he loved --elk hunting. Tim was born in Salt Lake City on January 15, 1945 to Elvin H and Phebe Tanner Allan. Tim married Dianne Rasmussen on July 10, 1964 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tim loved the outdoors and spent most of his time there. He worked hard and liked to play hard. His life's work and greatest pride was raising his family. He loved his family, spending time with them and having fun with all was his greatest joy. He loved to help others, work with young people and to provide opportunities for those who needed help. He taught life lessons to all who came in contact with him and touched many lives. Tim, the Trapper--adventurer, trapper, hunter, explorer and modern-day mountain man, husband, pa, grandpa, brother, uncle, friend to everyone. He left this life doing exactly what he loved with whom he loved and we know he has joined with those he loves on the other side. Tim is survived by his wife, Dianne; sons, Tyler (Heather), Joshua; daughter, Justine (Mark) Anderton; seven grandchildren; sisters, Cindy (Don) Forsyth, Gleneen (Allan) Genther, DeAndra (Jose) Barrera; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jeremy; and daughter, Hillary.
