Karen J Gage passed away the morning of April 5, 2008, in Salt Lake City. She was born June 24, 1945 to Keith and Neva Jewkes in Ferron, Utah. Karen was a kind and loving woman, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She remains an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Whe enjoyed gardening, watching basketball, cooking, watching movies and spending time with her granddaughter. Karen had a long career in accounting working for the Salt Lake County government and did volunteer work for the Utah Jazz, the Utah Democratic Party and Ballet West. Over a long one-year battle with cancer, her spirit was never crushed and her heart never stopped loving. Her smile and strength are still with us. Survived by son, Greg Gage, sister, Jan Aldrich, brother, Noel Jewkes, and granddaughter, Isabella Gage. Preceded in death by father, Keith Jewkes, mother, Neva Jewkes, and brother Michael Jewkes.
