Paul Langager

Paul Michael Langager, 63, passed away at home in Phoenix, Arizona, on November 21, 2008. He was born March 12, 1945 in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Orien and Henry Langager. Paul graduated from Orem High School, class of 1963. While in high school, Paul was a multi-year four letter athlete, he excelled in football, basketball and baseball. He was a quarterback of the state championship football team, earning All-State and All-American recognition, he was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Minnesota. Paul proudly served in Vietnam and was a devoted patriot of his country throughout his life. After his army service, Paul played golf; he competed both an an amateur and professional in numerous championship events in Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. He also competed in the Senior Golf Tour after turning 50. Paul lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years where he worked in the gaming business, he had recently moved to Phoenix.  Paul is survived by his step-son Brian Kelch of San Rafael, California and preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Gen. William Bledsoe, and his brother, Phillip. He is also survived by many, many friends. Paul made friends wherever he went and was loyal and caring to all. His kindness will live on through those who shared his love. He will be greatly missed by all.

Paul with out a doubt was the best all around athlete I competed with in any sport.  Paul and I maintained

a close friendship thru out his life.  I miss his friendship and those competive golf outings I always looked

forward to even though he kicked my ass 96% of the time I did win a few. He will be missed and here is

hoping he is playing the links up above.
