Philip W Yergensen, 58, died peacefully in his sleep on Monday, February 17, 2003. He was born January 7, 1945, the third child of Willard Goold and Christine Johnson Yergensen. Phil graduated from Orem High School in 1963, attended Brigham Young University, University of Utah and Alma White College. He enlisted in the US Army and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Expert (M-14); Marksman (M-16). After an honorable discharge, Phil marched to his own drummer for over 22 years.
