Richard S Clark
Richard S. (Dick) Clark, II, was born on May 6, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. He passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in Provo, Utah after a long and public battle with alcohol. He joins his parents, Dr. Richard S. and Carolyn M. Clark and both sets of grandparents, Stanley M. and Mary N. Clark and Louis F. and Kathryn Moore. He also joins his loving "Uncle Phil" Odle.
He leaves behind two sisters, Patricia C. Millar and Mary Kathryn Clark. He married Monica Lee Blackley-Petro and had three children Richard S. (Annie) Clark, III, Sesily (Trent) Lee, and Sean (Lynzi) Clark. Dick recently spent precious time with his two grandchildren Cohen and Carmella Lee and was looking forward to his third due in April.
Dick will be remembered for his inherent sense of humor, his love of people, his bright menacing smile, and his career in law. He was a talented golfer, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was always drawn to the mountains.
His family would like to thank all those who stood by him during his darkest times and most recently during his brightest and most promising. We all take comfort in knowing he was finally free of his addiction at the time of his passing.
Dad, we're proud of your recent victories and although your passing was unexpected, you have left your family with fond memories and we will miss you dearly.
As per his request, Dick will be cremated and memories will be shared during a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2008 at Berg Mortuary, 185 E. Center, Provo, Utah.
