After finishing Purdue I went to Grad. School at Loyal University, Chicago and earned a M.S. in neuroscience.
I published some research, completed the Ph.D. examines and sometime in between, I manged to record 5 CD's (under the name "Miga"), perform at some better known clubs around the country and wrote some tunes for T.V., film and other artists. What a ride!
In 1998, I went to work with my Dad and Sister in the family business, import/export of the Tassos Brand of imported Foods all produced in the Mediterranean. We now operate in four currencies and have distribution in several countries. It's exciting, exhausting and leaves time for little else.
During all the music stuff, I met Kari Nelson, my wife. We were friends for 10 years, recorded together, performed together and then, quite unexpectedly, realized we were head-over-heals and were married New Year's Eve 2006.
There's a lot more that could be said, but I'll wait for our 20 year reunion!
