Darlene and I got married in August, right after graduation. I went into the Army right after the wedding (14 days), got stationed in Germany, got sent over to Desert Storm, came back to Germany and sent for Darlene. She got there just after my birthday of 91, and 9 months later, we had our first boy, Zackary. He was born in Birkenfeld Germany, so he has a dual citizenship, which is cool. We came home in 92, and then we had our second boy Matthew in 93. We moved to NC in 99, as a job transfer for me. My dad past away not 7 months after we moved up here, so that was rough, so we moved my mom up here with us. That lasted all of about 8-9 months, then she moved back to Orlando, and over the next few years, she was back and forth. We just bought our first home in 07, and we love it. My mom moved back up here in 06, and has been with us since. The boys are all grown up now, Zack just graduated in June, and is working full time and going to the local community college, then will transfer to a larger school, he wants to be a physical therapist. Matt is a senior this year, and he's to lazy to work, lol. They are both great boys. They help us around here with my mom, as she is somewhat disabled right now. She had lapband surgery back in March, and has lost like 60 lbs already, and now we just found out that she has to have a total knee replacement of her left knee. That should be fun. I am working for Reliable Tank Line, hauling gas, driving a tanker, all over the east side of NC, SC and Virginia. I love driving truck, seeing different places and people. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, its a damn zoo around here sometimes, lol.
