September 5, 1958 to December 9, 2010

In memory of Chip Lilley, one of the sweetest guys, I have ever known. He left us to go on and be with the Lord on December 9, 2010.

LILLEY, ROY ANDERSON "CHIP", 52, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at his home in Winter Park, FL. Chip was diagnosed with colon cancer in February 2008 and has spent the past two years and ten months courageously fighting the disease. Chip was born on September 5, 1958, in St. Petersburg, FL; the oldest son of Ray Lafayette Lilley and Marie Anderson Lilley. Chip grew up in Orlando; attending Fern Creek Elementary School, Winter Park Junior High School and Edgewater High School; where he played football. Chip graduated from Rice University in 1980 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. In 1983 he graduated from the University of Virginia with a Masters degree in Business Administration. Chip began his extensive career in commercial real estate, with Trammell Crow Company, in 1983, in Orlando where he spent 18 years. As Principal and Director of Development he was responsible for leasing, development, management, acquisitions and dispositions as well as land entitlement, development and sales. In 2002, Chip joined Flagler Development Company in Jacksonville, FL as Senior Vice President and Regional Development Officer where he was responsible for all facets of design, construction, finance, development, leasing and asset management in Jacksonville, Orlando, Lakeland, Dade and Broward counties. In 2007, Chip joined several of his Trammell Crow colleagues in forming CNL Commercial Real Estate Services where he has been responsible for investment and development opportunities. Chip married Nancy Hansard Carter in 1999. He is survived by; wife Nancy; step-children, Stephan Crews Carter and Annsleigh Grace Carter; brothers: Ken Lilley and wife Vickie of Ardmore, TN; Mark Lilley and partner Karla Gigante of Longwood, FL; Michael Lilley and fiancé Sharon Langford of Apopka, FL; aunt, Cindy Anderson, Mexico; cousins, Susan Lilley and husband Phil Deaver of Winter Park, FL; John Lilley and wife Natasha of Austin, TX; David Lilley and wife Melissa of Orlando, FL; Cindy Coe Yelverton and husband Charlie of McKinney, TX; David Coe and wife Darden of Raleigh, NC; Steve Coe and wife Roxann of Reston, VA; Scott Coe of Raleigh, NC; Jorge Hughes and wife Adriana of Dallas, TX.; preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marie Lilley; brother Dwight Lilley; grandparents 
Bernarde and Louise Anderson and Frank and Esther Lilley; aunt and uncle Robert and Sue Lilley, aunt Norma Anderson Coe and cousin Robert "Bubba" Lilley. A memorial and celebration of Chip's life will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Orlando, Florida on Thursday, December 16 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Chip's honor to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 West Central
