When my mom moved to Lockhart before my birth, she joined the Lockhart Baptist Church. I grew up with Cheryl in this church. After my mom died in 1975, I rarely went to church. Over the years I would attend for short periods. Cheryl remained a faithful member with her family, new husband, and two sons. It broke my heart to learn of her cancer and death back in 1999. I'll always remember Cheryl as kind, loving, and sweet person.

Cheryl was such a sweet person.  I never heard her say a bad thing about anyone or anything.  She was always smiling.

Cheryl and I were best friends from 5th grade on.  She was fun-loving, caring, loyal, and a bit sassy.  :)  I miss her a lot.
