Orleans first ever(as far as we know) 5th and 6th football team has completed their 2nd season and became the champions of their league. Going 3-3 during the regular season they knocked off 3 good opponets including an undefeated Paoli team and beat a very good Mitchell team on their field to win the title!! all the boys were extremely excited to win it all!!! My daughter, Emily, was also very excited as she was one of the cheerleaders that cheered them to victory.

Mindi, Cindy, Vickie, and I attended the meeting. Our ideas were to have an adult night the Friday night before the banquet at a restaurant in the French Lick Springs Hotel. We thought any of our out-of-town classmates could maybe plan to get rooms (or even those of us who live locally), dine and possibly imbibe together, and maybe even take in the Casino together. Then on Saturday, we thought about getting the families together for a lunch cookout either at Travis's (still need to ask him) or back at the same place at Spring Mill where we had a cookout our senior year. Then, of course, attending the banquet that evening. We thought this would work out better for those of us who would need to be leaving early Sunday morning. Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17. We plan to meet in Orleans and go to the French Lick Hotel to stake out which restaurant we would prefer. Tentative time is 6:00 to meet.

just wanted to let everyone know that Lance Jacobs had a heart attack on Friday this past week...yes really!!! He had to have a stint put in as he had 90+% blockage in one artery. He is home now and doing fine.

Well, Well, Well? I finally made it to the site as you all can tell. Thanks to Jon and mabey Trish for not calling me when she was to. I GOT HOOD WINKED in signing up on the OHS Alum. site for 10 bucks, but hopefully it goes to a good cause? Anyway, it is nice to see that there are still some of us trying to stay in touch and continue to communicate. I would like to be informed and help in anyway that I can, from afar, unless you would want to put me up at the hotel for these meetings. LOL I like the ideas that have been mentioned. I have not seen when the dates are, so that I can plan accordingly. Please keep me informed as I have a couple of ideas. One would be to possibly get pictures together, placed on a DVD, edit with some music, and show during the reunion. We could make copies for others and possibly have a small fee to cover the cost and etc. Please keep me informed and contact me if you need to. Hey shmuckster Byron!!! I didn't call you because I lost your number! I will be returning your phone call some time this week. And yes, that was my baby Jonathon who answered the call that day!!! :) The committee is meeting again this Saturday the 10th and going to the hotel in French Lick to determine what we need to do to make reservations at a restaurant there. So if you would like to fly up and stay for the night, we'd love to have ya!!!! But as for reimbursement? Dream on!!!!! Talk atcha later!

June 6th was the date I read in the newspaper, also, Jon. Thank you, Travis, for responding both here in the forum and in person to having the family reunion time at your house! I know you would like to get as many people involved in the decision as you can but at some point(probably now)..someone needs to just go ahead and make a decision about what we are doing so we can get the word out to people.

For us that live here it is not a big deal but for people that will be travelling they will want to start making plans...And some of them may not even be thinking of the reunion yet...just my random thoughts...i will be happy doing whatever..please let me know how i can help do anything...
