Still have family around Oroville?

My oldest sister Vicki lives in Oroville on Kelly Ridge.

If you don't live in Oroville, would you ever move back?

Took a bunch of work and effort to get out and stay out of Oroville, would not consider it. Life in Pollock Pines and the surrounding mountains and forests has made my time here the best time of my life.

School Story:

Would love to try and make it sound fun and interesting, but it would bore you, so I won't try. Went to high school, graduated. Enjoyed the teaching of Mr Wiley and Mr Fredricks. They ROCKED!!

What are your favorite high school memories?

Lifted from the 70's profile:
Favorite memory: Doing some of the stupid things I did while I attended there.

Least favorite memory: Doing some of the stupid things I did while I attended there.

What's your story since high school?

Moved to Florida and did a lot of very stupid things, some with Jim Barry, Ron Atkinson, and Mark Sapp. Mark, Jim, and I returned, Ron did not (is still there). Sired a daughter there and was a general ne'er-do-well during my time there and don't really like to talk about it. Returned to Oroville and worked for the Forest Service, got married and a second daughter, went to college, got divorced, got married again, moved to Placerville area, got divorced again, met third wife (guys are dumb, sometimes it takes three times to get it right), left Forest Service, work in commercial telecommunications.

Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?

Talk to Jim Barry now and then. Am not in Oroville very much but have friends I stay with on occasion (Ray and Laurie Sousa), which enables me to stop by Mark and Paula Sapp's house (it's on the way to Ray and Laurie's place). Have been to Florida on multiple occasions to see my daughter and have visited w/Ron Atkinson, although this is not a common occurrence.

What are your interests, hobbies, avocations?

We both love traveling, dinking (not driinking) around the house, visiting the smaller surrounding communities like Amador City or Jackson. Anytime we get to cross up to Hwy 88 and have lunch at Kirkwood Inn is day well spent.

I'm a techie, so I like to build high performance gaming computers. Also play online multiplayer computer games.

And, like it or not, the gym is a necessary evil for us old folks.

Do you travel much?

We love the Big Island in Hawaii. We've been to Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island and have come to love the Big Island. We'd consider moving there if we didn't think we'd get island-itus. Besides, if you move where you love to vacation, where do you vacation?

Additionally, Ft Bragg, Ca. is a favorite destination. Doesn't cost as much to go there as it does Hawaii and they have better beer in Ft Bragg.

What countries have you been to?

Jamaica for our honeymoon, and Victoria, Canada on an Alaskan cruise last fall.

Have you done anything that would surprise us? Body piercings? Tatoos? Unusual trips, jobs, etc.

Let me see......atheist, dedicated family man, technically oriented occupation....In 1970, I would have never thought I'd be any of those....oh yeah, almost forgot. Happy.
