I worked with Kelly for a while at Prudential, at the time of her illness. She was having headaches and it turned out she had a brain tumor. They did surgery to remove it and during the surgery, she ended up having a stroke. Kelly was a fighter and she wasn't going to let this slow her down. She went through Physical Therapy and was fianally able to get around with a walker. I lost track of her after her stroke, as she was unable to work anymore. I believe she ended up getting Lou Gehrig's disease, but don't quote me on that. I did see her one time before she passed away. She loved her husband and her boys very much - they were the center of her life. There was one funny thing I will always remember about Kelly - when her and her husband Mike would travel by plane, they would always take different flights - Kelly wanted to make sure someone was there to take care of their boys. She had a funny way of telling the story! She had a sense of humor and zest for life. The saying, 'Only the good die young' is true in Kelly's case... I'm just sorry I didn't get this information sent in before, I just found out about this website. Thanks for posting the info about Kelly.
